NSF Workshop: Research Priorities in Electronic Commerce

This workshop is by invitation only.

The start time of the workshop will begin with a Continental breakfast at 8 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, 1998, and conclude after lunch (around 1 p.m.) on Saturday, September 12, 1998. Dinner meetings the nights of Thursday and Friday will begin early, and end early.

The hotel to be used will be the Sheraton Austin Hotel located on the corner of 5th Street and IH35. Those not affiliated with a university will need to pay their own travel expenses. Please inform them that you will pay for your own room and tax and incidentals. In addition, there will be a $200 cost per registrant.

You may make your own reservation by calling 512-480-8181, and ask for the NSF Workshop/IC2 block of rooms. The special group rate is $92/night. The block of rooms has been reserved for the nights of September 9, 10, and 11, with some carry over the night of the 12th. Evidently a 1-800 number is not available for group rates in Austin.

Please make your Sheraton Austin Hotel reservations prior to August 17. After that date rooms will be on a space available basis only -- and at a much higher rate.

The conference will be held at the IC2 Institute (2815 San Gabriel--see map), centrally located in Austin, about 6 blocks northwest from UT campus.
